This Thursday Union Station will partner with Svelte Barbershop + Essentials to host a Pop-up Barbershop in its historic Waiting Area, a nostagic nod to the classic shop that once thrived at the station following its opening in 1939. All proceeds from the day-long event will be donated to Heifer International.
Visitors, travelers and commuters through the station can enjoy a modern twist on the golden age of barbershops with either a haircut or hot towel shave for just $25.00, expertly executed by one of two master barbers. To elevate the experience, patrons can also enjoy a classic cocktail from a pop-up bar on the Traxx indoor patio.
