In a celebration of human ingenuity, Nagatani’s canvas mural surveys the history of modern transportation and looks toward the universe for innovation in the field. Over 500 postcards depicting 20th-century modes of transportation form a view of the curved edge of the earth seen from space. These are set against a black background among NASA images of celestial bodies and stars, which surround a reproduction of Eadweard Muybridge’s Human Locomotion series.
