El Pueblo de Los Angeles Heritage Festival
Celebrate food and music from around the world at El Pueblo’s inaugural Heritage Festival!
El Pueblo Historical Monument presents the inaugural El Pueblo de Los Angeles Heritage Festival, taking place June 26-28, 2026. This music and food event is a celebration of our shared living history at the Birthplace of Los Angeles, capturing the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Located between the official FIFA Fan Zone at Union Station, and Casa Mexico at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, the festival serves as the ultimate destination for locals and visitors to immerse themselves in the soul of the city.
To celebrate the entirety of the World Cup games which kick off June 11, 2026, El Pueblo Historical Monument is reinventing the majestic Pico House to become Celebration Plaza. For three weeks this new configuration complements the high-energy of the World Cup with live music, food, and team apparel shopping. The festivities culminate the last weekend of June at the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Heritage Festival.
L.A.’s own Ozomatli will perform on June 27 delivering their unique reggae and hip-hop styling. The legendary Poncho Sanchez brings his signature Latin jazz sounds to the festival on June 28. An interactive Kid’s Zone with family activities provided by El Pueblo partner museums, along with a curated, international food truck area will also be offered.
