Capoeira Exchange is a roda where we come together and play. Respect to our teachers, ancestors, and each other is always given as we exchange information through our games. We celebrate the different lineages we all come from by playing different toques (rhythms) on the berimbau and the types of games the instrument commands. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that incorporates dance, song, music and oral history.
