The Desert Cahuilla Birdsingers is an ensemble of vocalists comprised of members originally from the Cahuilla, Mojave, and Quechan Nations of Southern California and Arizona. The group is dedicated to preserving and revitalizing the tradition of “Bird,” a social song and dance creating a narrative depicting the beginning of creation, the struggle of surviving and the triumph of all who succeed.
