SUDAN MOON is a violinist and vocalist who writes, plays, and produces her own music. Drawing inspiration from Sudanese fiddlers, she is self-taught on the violin, and her unique songs also fold in elements of R&B and experimental electronic music.

SAM GENDEL is an experimental saxophonist who has performed and recorded around the world with the most recognizable names in jazz and popular music.

AMI DANG is a South Asian-American vocalist, sitarist, composer and producer from Baltimore. Her sound ranges from North Indian classical fused with noise/ambient electronics to beat-driven psych and experimental dance-pop. The work references her musical education and hybrid identity as well as the chaos and spirituality of the landscapes of both Baltimore and urban India.

ANA ROXANNE is an intersex Southeast Asian musician based in Los Angeles. Born and raised in the Bay Area to immigrant parents, Ana’s love for music and singing began through her mother’s CD collection of ’80’s and ’90’s R&B divas. Raised in the Catholic church, she became a devout choir nerd and found any opportunity to sing, whether for religious mass, the jazz ensemble of her catholic high school, or karaoke at family gatherings. She also spent a few months in Uttarkhand, India learning classical Hindustani singing.

Metro Art Presents showcases an exciting array of year-round arts and cultural programs at historic Union Station. All events are free and open to the public. More information: metro.net/art and unionstationla.com.
