Metro Art Presents: Movements At Union Station #1 | Juju

South Patio

July 26, 2019 from 8pm to 1pm

Metro Art Presents is thrilled to announce “Movements at Union Station,” an all-new series featuring three different Los Angeles based DJ collectives!

Join us for luscious, danceable grooves underneath the night sky complemented with visual projections at one of LA’s majestic landmarks. The events will also include a drop-in silkscreen stencil workshop led by Self Help Graphics & Art, a photo booth and food trucks. Snacks and libations from Café Crepe.

This event is FREE and OPEN to the public, no RSVPs required.

We’re kicking off the first night in this DJ series with “Juju,” a Soul Children experience. The Soul Children are a Los Angeles based crew of artists, promoters and DJs consisting of Al Jackson, Sacred, DJ Rome, mcdj1One and Q Michelle. Their mission is to inject soulful and creative expressions into the nightlife of L.A. club culture. They united under the auspices of creating a soulful experience in the Los Angeles club scene.

The Soul Children Experience continues to evolve to this day. It is a movement that challenges the creative impulses of the local nightlife by infusing jazzy musical themes with soulful visual presentations. As an organization, The Soul Children remain purveyors of Los Angeles club culture and still have a potent message to deliver to the masses in the new millennium and beyond.
