Union Station Tree Lighting And Cocoa Concert

South Patio

December 1, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.

Union Station will summon the sounds of Christmas beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1st with the Annual Tree Lighting on the station’s South Patio, accompanied by an extraordinary collaboration from the renowned All-American Boys Chorus and L.A’s Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra

Guest can enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, cookies, pastries and a cotton candy bar.

Southern California Fire Fighters’ “Spark of Love Toy Drive” also pulls into the station with its annual holiday campaign to collect new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for under-served children and teens. LAFD’s finest will be on hand during the event to accept donations.

The Cocoa Concert begins at 6:30 p.m with The All-American Boys Chorus, featuring over 100 boys ages 8-15 from throughout the southland and the unconventional Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra, a unique conductorless ensemble, Performing together for the first time. The one-of-a-kind concert experience will treat Union Station guests to a distinctive performance of all of their favorite holiday songs.

Santa Claus, one of the most popular guys in “Tinsel Town”, will kick-off the holiday season at Union Station with a Tree Lighting at on the South Patio at 7:00 p.m., followed by Santa Selfies, complimentary hot chocolate, cookies, pastries and a cotton candy bar.

The event is the first is a series of “Coco Concerts” to be held at the Station in December. Additional concerts are scheduled for Fridays, December 9th, 16th and 23rd
